Who operates this service
SELA.ROUTE is a community 3D climbing atlas operated by Idan Saidi. For privacy questions, access, correction or account deletion requests, contact idansaidi@gmail.com.
Account information and Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, Google and our authentication provider Supabase process the sign-in. We receive basic account information such as your Google account identifier, email address, name and profile picture, depending on what Google supplies. We use it to create and authenticate your account, display your profile and manage access permissions. We do not receive your Google password. This sign-in does not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files or contacts.
Edit access requests
When you request edit access, we store your chosen crag, reason, request status, submission date and administrator response. These request details and your account name and email are visible only to you and site administrators, and are used to review access and maintain a record of permission decisions. Do not include sensitive personal information in your request.
Contributions and technical information
We store account and permission information and contributions you submit, such as routes and corrections. Published contributions may be visible to other visitors and associated with your profile. Do not submit sensitive personal information in public content. Our infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, browser details, request logs and timestamps to deliver the site, troubleshoot errors and protect the service.
Cookies and local storage
Authentication uses necessary session cookies or browser storage to keep you signed in. Disabling them may prevent sign-in. The viewer may store unfinished editing drafts locally in your browser. This policy does not treat browsing as consent to advertising tracking. Any future optional analytics or advertising tracking will require an updated notice and an appropriate choice before activation.
Service providers and sharing
We use Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel to host the application, Hostinger to deliver model files, and Google for optional sign-in. Viewer resources may also be delivered by third-party content delivery services. These providers process information needed to deliver their services; processing may take place outside your country. We do not sell Google account data or use it for advertising. Information may be disclosed when necessary to comply with applicable law or protect the service and its users.
Retention, deletion and choices
We retain account information while it is needed to provide the account and manage permissions. Technical records and backups may remain for security, recovery or legal needs according to the relevant provider settings. To request deletion or a copy or correction of your information, email us; we may need to verify your identity. We will explain whether any published contributions or legally required records need to be retained or anonymised. You can also revoke Google access in your Google Account; revocation alone does not delete your SELA.ROUTE account.
Security and changes
We use access controls and authenticated connections to protect account information. No online service can guarantee complete security. We may update this policy as the service changes and will indicate the revision date.
